I am thankful to have found your 'home away from home' service as a kinder option to boarding, and I truly believe in, and love, the service that Hounds on Holiday offers. Before Bear even went on his vacation, I was telling every dog owner I know about this wonderful alternative approach to leaving your dog at a kennel while your are away. I was very impressed with how fast he was placed with a host family with such short notice, and the information sheet that was filled out so that the caregiver could follow his everyday schedule is fantastic!

Most of all however, is the amazing transportation service that comes to get your dog and all of his belongings so that there is absolutely no sense of abandonment by the dog from his owner. My dog truly just jumped into the car and was ready to leave me behind. And when he arrived home, he stuck his head out of the truck and was just as happy to see me once again. There were no feelings of guilt from me while he was away, and definitely no worrying about his state of mind or condition.

I truly enjoyed this experience and will definitely call upon Hounds on Holiday for my next vacation. You will find Hounds on Holiday business cards across Guelph on all of the bulletin boards that I have stuck them on hoping pet owners would give this service a try.
